| Description | In spectroscopy set-up with the same camera for finding and guiding, and a ROI and binning set for this camera, the ROI and binning settings get lost when after a focus run the autofocus settings are changed in the preferences. This issue happens at approximately 90% of the times this is done. It can be restored by dis- and reconnecting the guider/finder camera, although sometimes a full restart of CCDciel is required. Nicolàs, I cannot reproduce the problem with the simulator, I need more information. When you say "ROI and binning settings get lost " what do this meant exactly? what was the previous value and what is it after the preferences are modified. I need the full log of a session where the problem occur. If possible do it with the "verbose device log" option enabled and note the time you open the preference because this is not visible in the log. |

Looking at the code I find something that can produce the effect you describe. Please install the version 0.9.94-4090 before your next testing. |
