Saiba sobre as páginas existentes
As well the English pages and those in your own language to not redo an existing work.
Use the “Sitemap” link at the top of the page to explore the full site.

As páginas em inglês são as de referência.
You can start by translating them to your own language.
If you write a new text in a language other than English, you need to also write the same text in the corresponding English page. Even if your English is not better than mine, or even using an automated translator, this can be corrected later by another user.
This is very important! If you forget to update the English page the other editor for other language will not know about your text.

Para iniciar uma tradução, start from the corresponding English page. Select your language in the top left language selector. You get an empty page and a message because this page do not exist, click the “Create this page” button.
The editor is filled with the text from the first available language, usually Catalan as it is the first in alphabetic order. You can base your translation on another language using the blue box in top of the editor.

Respeite os espaços de nome
All the pages for a language are grouped together by namespace, en: for English and en:documentation: for the documentation. Do not add other language pages to this namespace but ask me to create a new one.

This is very important for the good working of the wiki translation system.
If you need to add a link you can add the translation after the | in the link:

É de maior prioridade ter uma documentação completa em inglês em vez de muitas traduções de uma documentação incompleta.

Evite incluir capturas de ecrã que não sejam em inglês Normally all the screenshot used for illustration are from the English version of the program. It is of little value to add a translated screenshot and this may increase the size of the documentation to an unacceptable value for the download package.

Utilize imagens de tamanho pequeno
800×600 is the maximum size for a screenshot and the format must be JPEG. Always reduce the image size in the text, your page can be read without scrolling on a 800×600 screen.

Nunca utilize caráter “/” num nome even to separate the name space part. This may work with the current wiki setting but the correct character is “:” as stated in the documentation.
